Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer is the leading cause of cancer for Queensland men.  In 2007 there were 3,680 cases of prostate cancer with 76% of these cases occurring in men under 75 years old.  The risk of getting prostate cancer increases as you get older, however there are ways of checking the health of your prostate. Talk to your doctor for options, particularly if you’re over 40.

For more information on prostate cancer you can visit Cancer Council Queensland or Health Insite.
