With some of the most beautiful natural places in the world, Queensland is the perfect place for a picnic or barbecue at the park. If you’re trying to be more active, then this is a great opportunity to get your move on. Here are our top 6 tips for organising a fun and active picnic:

4. Sun safety

When you’re out in the great outdoors (even on cloudy days), wear a long-sleeved shirt, broad spectrum SPF30 or higher sunscreen, a broad-brimmed hat, a pair of sunnies to protect your eyes, and enjoy your picnic in a nice shadey spot.

5. Stay hydrated

Pack some water, and drink small amounts of water regularly throughout your picnic.
