If in doubt, throw it out.
You can’t always tell if food contains bacteria that might make you sick by the look, smell or taste.
Especially when it’s left in the temperature danger zone.
Even for a short time.
As a rule, food that has been out of the fridge for longer than a total of 4 hours should be thrown out.
And, if you’re not sure if food is safe, don’t eat it, throw it away.
Playing it safe with food only takes a few seconds and it’s always worth it.
